The memories that truly mattered were the simple, powerful moments of Food, Vacations, and Laughter with my family and friends. Those memories carried me back to the sunshine… back to living, loving, and laughing again.

That is the heart of FAVSS. That is the power of Angels.

My Mom, Dad, and Grandma are my true Angels and Heroes—the inspiration that launched the FAVSS mission and the reason we are committed to bringing joy, connection, and hope to seniors and veterans who need it most.

Why we came to life: Low income Seniors and Veterans suffer from isolation that is devastating, and results in depression, anxiety, and more suicides.

Isolation and financial hardship can be devastating — especially for Seniors and Veterans living alone or on fixed incomes. When even simple joys like dining out, visiting an attraction, or attending a community event become out of reach, life can grow painfully lonely. Over time, that loneliness can lead to depression, anxiety, and despair.

Food and Vacations Seniors Specials, Inc. FAVSS’s mission is to enrich the lives of low-income seniors and veterans in our communities by providing them social, cultural, and joyful experiences that promote their mental, emotional, and physical well-being.

While many organizations address some basic needs; FAVSS focuses on what is often overlooked—the joy of connecting, engaging and making new friends through meaningful food and vacations outings experiences that enhances their quality of life.

At FAVSS – Food and Vacations Seniors Specials Inc, we believe that seniors and veterans deserve more than just care; they deserve joy, dignity, and unforgettable fun experiences. Our nonprofit was founded with a simple mission: to nourish the body, uplift the spirit, and create lasting enjoyable memories for seniors and veterans through special dining out experiences, mini-vacations, and affordable and entertaining events.

*These Seniors and Veterans Specials are either Free of charge, or offered at highly discounted rates from our Sponsors or Donors to our Members.

FAVSS aims at providing memorable food and vacations experiences to seniors and veterans who too often feel isolated and lonely because of limited opportunities available to them.

From affordable or donated dining experiences at local restaurants, to day trips and mini-vacations, to amusement parks, community events and parties, FAVSS and its team and partners aim at creating unforgettable memories to bring hope and laughter, and new friendships with creative programs that help cheer up our seniors and veterans. Please help by donating a dining experience, or a mini-vacation at your resort, or tickets to an amusement park, tickets to a zoo, or a museum outings to cheer-up our Floridian Seniors and Veterans.

No other Organization focuses on food and mini vacations specials and other Seniors Specials to help bring much needed joy, support, and opportunities to those who need it most. Thank you for helping out!

Every program is designed to bring people together, strengthen connections, and honor those who have given so much to our communities.

What makes us different is our focus on Fun and Fulfillment. Food isn’t just about nutrition — it’s about shared tables and laughter. Vacations aren’t just about travel — they’re about adventure and new stories to tell. Community events aren’t just activities — they’re opportunities to belong.

Together, with our volunteers, donors, and partners, we are building a community that Seniors and Veterans feel like they want to belong to with resources and savings that helps them cheer-up, bring more fun into their lives, and meet new friends to reduce their isolation. With FAVSS, every meal shared with new friends and every trip taken is another good reason to celebrate life!

FAVSS MISSION

Food And Vacations Seniors Specials Inc."FAVSS" is building a sustainable platform where sponsors receive year-round recognition and Seniors and Veterans can access life-changing discounts, or free meals at restaurants, or enjoy mini-vacations with our free or discounted Programs, or even purchase a car at a great discount, plus many other shopping specials that we post on our website. This approach transforms any sponsorship into a preferred partnership, and encourages Donors' much needed participation showing that our results count, and are featured regularly on our website. FAVSS aims at multiplying this impact for the Sponsors, the Donors and the Florida communities that it serves.

Purpose Statement:
Food And Vacations Seniors Specials Inc. is organized exclusively for charitable purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, specifically to benefit low-income Floridian seniors and veterans.

Our Mission Statement: Is to help strengthen local Floridian communities by connecting low-income seniors and veterans with affordable access to food specials, dining, and mini vacations, as well as fun local experiences, while supporting small businesses through sponsored discount programs, and community partnerships.
We create joyful opportunities with savings on Seniors' Specials as well as fun experiences and opportunities supported by Volunteers, Veterans, Donors and professional staff; so that every participant feels valued, appreciated and included.

Food and Vacations Seniors Specials Inc. (FAVSS) was founded on a simple belief: Every Senior and Veteran deserves dignity, joy, and a sense of belonging no matter how small their income.

Across Florida, too many low-income Seniors and Veterans face isolation, skipped meals, and the heartbreak of watching life pass by without the financial means to enjoy it. We are changing that by helping as many seniors and veterans that we can with your support!

FAVSS creates once-in-a-lifetime experiences and opportunities that restores dignity and sparks joy, hope and much needed excitement to low income seniors and veterans.
Through partnerships with local restaurants, community sponsors, hospitality, travel and tours providers, we aim to connect seniors and veterans to enjoyable meals, safe social outings, a wide variety of affordable senior specials and mini-vacations to brighten their lives and help strengthen their valuable presence in our communities.

No one else is offering this kind and holistic approach to benefit our Seniors and Veterans with exciting memorable experiences that include good food, entertainment, unforgettable outings and mini-vacations to bring joy in their heart and uplift their spirit.

The specific purposes are:

· Providing food and vacations related special programs, and resources to enhance the lives of Floridian seniors and veterans.

· Receive sponsorship's from local businesses, restaurants, resorts, entertainment venues, and travel providers to secure goods, services, and mini vacations for the elderly and veterans.

· To highlight local restaurants, resorts, travel providers, car dealerships, shops, and services that help us provide support to low-income Floridian seniors and veterans in need by offering them spAonsorship's and donors’ recognition.

· Promoting mental and physical well-being to low-income seniors and veterans by helping reduce their isolation and offering them enjoyable opportunities to meet new friends at events, dining out specials with downloadable food, restaurants and various affordable senior specials, outings and mini-vacations in Florida that result in a sense of belonging to the community that supports them.

· To accept charitable donations and grants and applying all such resources to benefit our low-income seniors and veterans in Florida.
